The Stephens County Development Authority has partnered with the Work-Based Learning Program at Stephens County High School to recognize a High School student every month that has demonstrated tremendous work ethic not only in the workplace but also in the school and extracurricular activities.
Students are nominated and chosen for the WBL program based off their grades in WBL, their academic achievement in all of their classes (GPA), their accountability and responsibility with their job, they must be on their way to being a pathway completer, their behavior inside and outside the school building, and their school attendance. Students are nominated by their employers, teachers, & work-based learning coordinators & then SCDA surprises them at work and presents them with gift cards and a yard sign for their employer to display.
Help us to congratulate our two additional finalists for Student of the Year, Garrett Pless and Anna Glaze, for their hard work and dedication. The Stephens County Development Authority is proud of you all for the outstanding job you have done throughout the Work-Based Learning Program and the 2022-2023 School Year!
