SCDA’s President & CEO Brittany Ivey and County Commission Chair James Addison traveled to Forsyth this week to receive a $200,000 OneGeorgia Equity Fund Grant from the Department of Community Affairs. This grant money, along with $250,000 from the Board of Commissioners ARPA funds, will be used to add sewer infrastructure to our newest and largest acquired sites in Hayestone Brady Business Park. This will provide the last piece of critical infrastructure to service our three sites, as water, natural gas, power and broadband are already in place. The completion of this project will check off another one of our strategic goals and will help us ensure that we have marketable sites for industrial development as we continue to help grow our local economy.
