Engineering Internship
Paid Position- Based on Experience

Intro: Providing support as needed for the Engineering Team.
Decription of Position: Sole Responsibility / Assignments to be completed by the position: Perform analysis support for automotive OEM pre-series, series and field issues Develop solutions with ingenuity and innovation. Collect and analyze statistical data. Ensure a simultaneous, effective and efficient development and problem-solving process. Collaborate with the engineering team as well as process partners. Provide support with drafting technical documents such as Work Instructions, etc. Support the implementation of the defined 5s standard. Adhere to all safety guidelines outlined by OSHA and Nifco KTW. Comply with all regulations regarding workplace safety and accident prevention in everyday operations as well as informing the supervisor if deviations are detected during the shift. Contributes continuously to improve processes, procedures, operational figures, and informs the supervisor about suggestions for improvements. Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor. Requirements: Current student in Automotive Engineering, Quality Engineering, Product Development, or another related field. Competency in MS Office Experience in AutoCAD and 3D viewer a plus. Excellent attention to detail. Must be self-motivated. Excellent verbal skills. Must be productive in a team environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
