Chairman Hayrettin Cayci of Sarkuysan, the Turkish parent company of local industry Sark Wire, was in town late last week to meet with Sark Wire’s President Serdar Akin, Sark Wire’s Technical Vice President Kerim Uysal and other key members of Sark Wire’s management team. The management team was pleased to show Chairman Sark Wire’s latest expansion. While in town Chairman Cayci hosted a group of local, state and federal leaders at the Currahee Club to give an update on Sark Wire’s continued growth at their Eastanollee facility. Since locating here in 2015 Sark Wire has completed 4 expansions. Their latest building expansion was completed earlier this year and they are still adding equipment to get their newest line to full production. When this expansion is completed, Sark will have invested an additional $5M in their local facility and created an additional 25 jobs over the next 3 years. Sark Wire currently employs 72 individuals. 

Chairman Cayci shared that they plan to continue to expand, invest, and create jobs in our community for many years to come. Sark Wire’s production capacity and product variety will increase by approximately 40% in the next year.
